In value terms, Nepal ($X) constitutes the largest market for imported threshing machinery except combine harvester-threshers in Southern Asia, comprising 79% of total imports. The second position in the ranking was held by India ($X), with an 8.6% share of total imports. It was followed by Pakistan, with a 6.2% share.

In Nepal, threshing machinery imports increased at an average annual rate of +9.7% over the period from 2012-2022. In the other countries, the average annual rates were as follows: India (+34.1% per year) and Pakistan (+30.1% per year).
