Over the period under review, imports attained the peak figure at $X in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2021, imports failed to regain momentum.

In 2021, Germany (X square meters) constituted the largest supplier of composition leather to Spain, with a 71% share of total imports. Moreover, composition leather imports from Germany exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, Italy (X square meters), threefold.
