In 2022, the amount of propellers and rotors for civil non-powered aircraft, helicopters and aeroplanes imported into Spain declined to X tons, with a decrease of -7.6% compared with 2021 figures. Over the period under review, imports, however, saw a prominent expansion. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2021 with an increase of 161% against the previous year. As a result, imports reached the peak of X tons, and then fell in the following year.
In value terms, aircraft propeller imports reduced dramatically to $X in 2022. In general, imports, however, recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 with an increase of 135%. As a result, imports reached the peak of $X, and then reduced sharply in the following year.

In 2022, France (X tons) constituted the largest supplier of aircraft propeller to Spain, with a 78% share of total imports. Moreover, aircraft propeller imports from France exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, Germany (X tons), eightfold. The third position in this ranking was held by the United States (X tons), with a 4.2% share.
