Overall, imports, however, continue to indicate a pronounced decrease. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2018 with an increase of 58%. Over the period under review, imports of attained the peak figure at X cubic meters in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2021, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.
In value terms, imports of wood chips, parts, residues, pellets and other agglomerates soared to $X in 2021. Over the period under review, imports continue to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2017 with an increase of 48%. Imports peaked at $X in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2021, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.
