The exports peaked at X tons in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2021, the exports remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, unsweetened condensed and evaporated milk exports dropped remarkably to $X in 2021. In general, exports continue to indicate a significant decline. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2019 with an increase of 67%. Over the period under review, the exports attained the peak figure at $X in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2021, the exports remained at a lower figure.

Saudi Arabia (X kg), Qatar (X kg) and Kuwait (X kg) were the main destinations of unsweetened condensed and evaporated milk exports from Sri Lanka, together accounting for 82% of total exports.

From 2012 to 2021, the biggest increases were recorded for Qatar (with a CAGR of +4.4%), while shipments for the other leaders experienced a decline.

In value terms, Qatar ($X), Saudi Arabia ($X) and Kuwait ($X) constituted the largest markets for unsweetened condensed and evaporated milk exported from Sri Lanka worldwide, with a combined 85% share of total exports.
