Data Processing Server Market Size in Sri Lanka

The Sri Lankan data processing server market contracted sharply to $X in 2022, waning by -75.7% against the previous year. This figure reflects the total revenues of producers and importers (excluding logistics costs, retail marketing costs, and retailers' margins, which will be included in the final consumer price). In 2022, imports of data processing servers into Sri Lanka contracted markedly to X units, with a decrease of -78.7% against 2021 figures. In general, imports saw a deep downturn. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2021 with an increase of 306%. As a result, imports attained the peak of X units, and then reduced markedly in the following year.

In value terms, data processing server imports fell significantly to $X in 2022. Overall, imports saw a mild descent. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2021 with an increase of 218%. As a result, imports reached the peak of $X, and then plummeted in the following year.

In 2022, China (X units) was the main supplier of data processing server to Sri Lanka, with a 152% share of total imports. Moreover, data processing server imports from China exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, Singapore (X units), fourfold. The third position in this ranking was held by Malaysia (X units), with a 24% share.
