The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2014 with an increase of 3,572%. As a result, the exports attained the peak of $X. From 2015 to 2021, the growth of the exports remained at a lower figure.
Exports by Country
The United Arab Emirates (X units) was the main destination for electronic material tester exports from Sri Lanka, accounting for a 66% share of total exports. Moreover, electronic material tester exports to the United Arab Emirates exceeded the volume sent to the second major destination, Jordan (X units), eightfold. Germany (X units) ranked third in terms of total exports with a 4.1% share.

In 2021, China (X units) constituted the largest supplier of electronic material tester to Sri Lanka, with a 29% share of total imports. Germany (X units) ranked third in terms of total imports with a 5.7% share.

Over the period under review, the import price continues to indicate a deep downturn. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2013 when the average import price increased by 16% against the previous year. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $X per unit.
