Maldives (X tons) was the main destination for yoghurt exports from Sri Lanka, accounting for a 96% share of total exports. It was followed by the United Arab Emirates (X tons), with a 2.9% share of total exports.
From 2012 to 2022, the average annual rate of growth in terms of volume to Maldives totaled +17.0%.
In value terms, Maldives ($X) remains the key foreign market for yoghurt exports from Sri Lanka, comprising 90% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was taken by the United Arab Emirates ($X), with an 8.4% share of total exports.
From 2012 to 2022, the average annual growth rate of value to Maldives totaled +12.4%.

The average yoghurt export price stood at $X per ton in 2022, dropping by -11.1% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price showed a noticeable setback.
