Market Size for Printing and Writing Paper in Sudan

For the fourth year in a row, the Sudanese printing and writing paper market recorded decline in sales value, which decreased by -13.3% to $X in 2021. Overall, consumption continues to indicate a pronounced shrinkage. Over the period under review, imports hit record highs at X tons in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2022, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, printing and writing paper imports rose significantly to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, imports, however, saw a slight decline. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2015 with an increase of 115%. Imports peaked at $X in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2022, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.
