In value terms, antisera imports dropped modestly to $X in 2021. In general, total imports indicated a strong increase from 2012 to 2021: its value increased at an average annual rate of +7.0% over the last nine-year period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2021 figures, imports increased by +85.7% against 2013 indices. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2019 when imports increased by 22% against the previous year. Imports peaked at $X in 2020, and then dropped modestly in the following year.

Germany (X tons), the United States (X tons) and Austria (X tons) were the main suppliers of antisera imports to Sweden, together accounting for 73% of total imports. Italy, Denmark, Poland, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Belgium and the UK lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 20%.
