For the third year in a row, the Swedish fork-lift truck market recorded decline in sales value, which decreased by -7% to $X in 2022. In general, consumption, however, saw a pronounced increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 with an increase of 43%. As a result, the exports attained the peak of X units, and then reduced sharply in the following year.

Belgium (X units) was the main destination for fork-lift truck exports from Sweden, accounting for a 31% share of total exports. The total import value increased at an average annual rate of +2.2% over the period from 2012 to 2022; however, the trend pattern indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period.
