Norway (X units) was the main destination for laser exports from Sweden, accounting for a 41% share of total exports. As a result, imports attained the peak of X units. From 2015 to 2021, the growth of imports remained at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, laser imports surged to $X in 2021. In general, imports showed a resilient expansion. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2014 when imports increased by 67% against the previous year. As a result, imports reached the peak of $X. From 2015 to 2021, the growth of imports remained at a somewhat lower figure.

In 2021, China (X units) constituted the largest supplier of laser to Sweden, with a 38% share of total imports. Moreover, laser imports from China exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, Germany (X units), threefold.
