The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2019 with an increase of 111%. The exports peaked at X litres in 2021, and then fell significantly in the following year.
In value terms, non-alcoholic beverage, not containing milk exports shrank notably to $X in 2022. In general, exports, however, enjoyed a buoyant increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2018 with an increase of 55% against the previous year. The exports peaked at $X in 2021, and then dropped sharply in the following year.

Germany (X litres), Finland (X litres) and the UK (X litres) were the main destinations of non-alcoholic beverage, not containing milk exports from Sweden, together accounting for 49% of total exports. Norway, the Netherlands, Denmark, Belgium, China, Poland, New Zealand, Romania, Hungary and Spain lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further 41%.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of shipments, amongst the main countries of destination, was attained by New Zealand (with a CAGR of +330.5%), while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, Finland ($X), Norway ($X) and Germany ($X) constituted the largest markets for non-alcoholic beverage, not containing milk exported from Sweden worldwide, with a combined 51% share of total exports. The UK, Denmark, the Netherlands, China, Belgium, Poland, New Zealand, Romania, Hungary and Spain lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 33%.

Overall, total imports indicated a resilient increase from 2012 to 2022: its volume increased at an average annual rate of +6.9% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, imports increased by +72.3% against 2016 indices. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2018 when imports increased by 23%. Imports peaked in 2022 and are expected to retain growth in years to come.

The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, imports increased by +50.9% against 2016 indices. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2013 when imports increased by 18% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports reached the maximum in 2022 and are expected to retain growth in the near future.

The third position in this ranking was held by Denmark (X litres), with an 8.7% share.

Austria, Finland, France, Belgium and Poland lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 27%.
Among the main suppliers, Finland, with a CAGR of +21.5%, recorded the highest growth rate of the value of imports, over the period under review, while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2022, the average import price for non-alcoholic beverages, not containing milk amounted to $X per litre, standing approx. at the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price, however, continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2013 when the average import price increased by 9.5% against the previous year. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $X per litre. From 2014 to 2022, the average import prices remained at a lower figure.
