Norway (X units), Poland (X units) and South Africa (X units) were the main destinations of tractor exports from Sweden, together accounting for 33% of total exports. These countries were followed by the UK, Finland, China, Russia, the United Arab Emirates, Denmark, Brazil, South Korea, Germany and Taiwan (Chinese), which together accounted for a further 40%.

Over the period under review, export price indicated strong growth from 2012 to 2022: its price increased at an average annual rate of +5.4% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 an increase of 26%. Over the period under review, the average export prices reached the maximum at $X per unit in 2021, and then fell remarkably in the following year.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major external markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Germany ($X per unit), while the average price for exports to Brazil ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Denmark (+23.2%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2022, overseas purchases of tractors increased by 18% to X units, rising for the second year in a row after two years of decline. Overall, imports, however, continue to indicate a slight reduction. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2021 with an increase of 89%. Imports peaked at X units in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, imports failed to regain momentum.
In value terms, tractor imports stood at $X in 2022. Over the period under review, imports, however, showed a relatively flat trend pattern. Over the period under review, imports hit record highs at $X in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2022, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In 2022, China (X units) constituted the largest supplier of tractor to Sweden, with a 58% share of total imports. Moreover, tractor imports from China exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, Taiwan (Chinese) (X units), sevenfold. The third position in this ranking was taken by Finland (X units), with a 7.4% share.
From 2012 to 2022, the average annual growth rate of volume from China stood at +14.3%. The remaining supplying countries recorded the following average annual rates of imports growth: Taiwan (Chinese) (+22.3% per year) and Finland (+5.4% per year).
In value terms, Germany ($X), China ($X) and Finland ($X) appeared to be the largest tractor suppliers to Sweden, with a combined 59% share of total imports. These countries were followed by France, the United States, the UK, Italy, the Netherlands and Taiwan (Chinese), which together accounted for a further 29%.
Taiwan (Chinese), with a CAGR of +22.2%, recorded the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of imports, in terms of the main suppliers over the period under review, while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2022, the average tractor import price amounted to $X per unit, which is down by -10.4% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price, however, showed a modest increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 an increase of 89%. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $X per unit. From 2018 to 2022, the average import prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was the UK ($X per unit), while the price for Taiwan (Chinese) ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.
