In 2022, Germany (X tons) was the main supplier of carbon dioxide to Switzerland, accounting for a 96% share of total imports. It was followed by Italy (X tons), with a 0.7% share of total imports.
From 2012 to 2022, the average annual growth rate of volume from Germany stood at +26.8%. The remaining supplying countries recorded the following average annual rates of imports growth: Italy (-3.3% per year) and the Netherlands (-16.5% per year).
