Germany (X tons), France (X tons) and the United Arab Emirates (X tons) were the main destinations of flat glass exports from Switzerland, with a combined 62% share of total exports. These countries were followed by Spain, Qatar, China, the United States, Italy and Hungary, which together accounted for a further 28%.
From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of shipments, amongst the main countries of destination, was attained by Qatar (with a CAGR of +25.9%), while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
