Overall, imports showed a prominent expansion. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 when imports increased by 210% against the previous year. Imports peaked in 2021 and are expected to retain growth in the near future.

In value terms, lactam imports dropped rapidly to $X in 2021. In general, imports showed a tangible expansion. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2016 when imports increased by 146%.
