Germany (X units), Belgium (X units) and the United States (X units) were the main destinations of non-electrical lamp exports from Switzerland, with a combined 81% share of total exports. These countries were followed by France, Poland, the Netherlands, Italy, Austria and Denmark, which together accounted for a further 15%.

From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of shipments, amongst the main countries of destination, was attained by Poland (with a CAGR of +44.7%), while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

There were significant differences in the average prices for the major foreign markets. In 2021, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was the United States ($X per unit), while the average price for exports to Belgium ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.

In 2021, China (X units) constituted the largest supplier of non-electrical lamp to Switzerland, accounting for a 67% share of total imports. Moreover, non-electrical lamp imports from China exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, India (X units), fivefold. The third position in this ranking was taken by Germany (X units), with an 8.2% share.

From 2012 to 2021, the average annual growth rate of volume from China amounted to -6.4%. The remaining supplying countries recorded the following average annual rates of imports growth: India (-1.9% per year) and Germany (-8.9% per year).
