The export price peaked at $X per unit in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2021, the export prices failed to regain momentum.

Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was France ($X per unit), while the average price for exports to Spain ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.

From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Germany (+26.1%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2021, the amount of pumps for liquids and liquid elevators imported into Switzerland fell to X units, dropping by -8.6% on the year before. Overall, total imports indicated perceptible growth from 2012 to 2021: its volume increased at an average annual rate of +2.1% over the last nine-year period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2021 figures, imports increased by +49.1% against 2017 indices. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2018 with an increase of 46% against the previous year. Imports peaked at X units in 2020, and then contracted in the following year.

In value terms, pump for liquid imports rose notably to $X in 2021. The total import value increased at an average annual rate of +2.7% over the period from 2012 to 2021; however, the trend pattern remained consistent, with only minor fluctuations in certain years.
