The Czech Republic, with a CAGR of +34.9%, saw the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of exports, in terms of the main countries of destination over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

As a result, imports attained the peak of $X. From 2016 to 2022, the growth of imports remained at a lower figure.

In 2022, China (X units) constituted the largest data storage device supplier to Tanzania, accounting for a 70% share of total imports. Moreover, data storage device imports from China exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, the United Arab Emirates (X units), tenfold. The third position in this ranking was held by Taiwan (Chinese) (X units), with a 3.9% share.

In value terms, China ($X) constituted the largest supplier of data storage devices to Tanzania, comprising 55% of total imports. The second position in the ranking was held by Denmark ($X), with a 5.3% share of total imports. It was followed by Israel, with a 2.8% share.

From 2012 to 2022, the average annual rate of growth in terms of value from China amounted to +59.8%. The remaining supplying countries recorded the following average annual rates of imports growth: Denmark (+45.9% per year) and Israel (-1.0% per year).

In 2022, the average data storage device import price amounted to $X per unit, with a decrease of -18.6% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price continues to indicate a abrupt downturn. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2013 an increase of 94%. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $X per unit. From 2014 to 2022, the average import prices failed to regain momentum.
