The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2016 with an increase of 484% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports hit record highs at $X in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2022, imports remained at a lower figure.

In 2022, the Netherlands (X kg) constituted the largest supplier of raspberry, blackberry, blueberry, and cranberry to Tanzania, with a 75% share of total imports. Moreover, raspberry, blackberry, blueberry, and cranberry imports from the Netherlands exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, South Africa (X kg), fivefold. The United Arab Emirates (X kg) ranked third in terms of total imports with a 5.5% share.
