As a result, exports reached the peak of $X. from 2015 to 2020, the growth exports remained at a somewhat lower figure.

China (X tons) was the main destination for alcohols exports from Thailand, with a X% share of total exports. Moreover, alcohols exports to China exceeded the volume sent to the second major destination, Japan (X tons), fourfold. Australia (X tons) ranked third in terms of total exports with a X% share.

Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination; the country with the highest price was South Korea ($X per ton), while the average price for exports to New Zealand ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.

The average alcohols import price stood at $X per ton in 2020, dropping by -X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price continues to indicate a perceptible setback. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2010 when the average import price increased by X% year-to-year. Over the period under review, average import prices reached the peak figure at $X per ton in 2011; however, from 2012 to 2020, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2020, the country with the highest price was Singapore ($X per ton), while the price for Bahrain ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2007 to 2020, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Brunei Darussalam, while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced a decline.
