Japan (X units) was the main destination for amplifier exports from Thailand, accounting for a 39% share of total exports. Among the main countries of destination, Myanmar, with a CAGR of +78.2%, recorded the highest growth rate of the value of exports, over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

The growth pace was the most rapid in 2013 an increase of 43% against the previous year. As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $X per unit. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 when imports increased by 19%. Over the period under review, imports hit record highs at X units in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, imports failed to regain momentum.
In value terms, amplifier imports contracted rapidly to $X in 2022. In general, imports, however, saw a pronounced decline. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2021 with an increase of 17% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports attained the maximum at $X in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

Mexico (X units), China (X units) and Japan (X units) were the main suppliers of amplifier imports to Thailand, together comprising 91% of total imports.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of purchases, amongst the main suppliers, was attained by Mexico (with a CAGR of +52.5%), while imports for the other leaders experienced mixed trend patterns.
