The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 when the average export price increased by X% against the previous year. The export price peaked at $X per ton in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2021, the export prices remained at a lower figure.

Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was the Philippines ($X per ton), while the average price for exports to the Netherlands ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Cambodia (+X%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

In value terms, disinfectant imports shrank slightly to $X in 2021. Over the period under review, imports, however, enjoyed strong growth. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2020 with an increase of X%. As a result, imports reached the peak of $X, leveling off in the following year.

In 2021, China (X tons) constituted the largest disinfectant supplier to Thailand, accounting for a X% share of total imports. Moreover, disinfectant imports from China exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, Malaysia (X tons), more than tenfold. The third position in this ranking was held by Belgium (X tons), with a X% share.

There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2021, the country with the highest price was the United States ($X per ton), while the price for China ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
