The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2019 when exports increased by 105%. As a result, the exports reached the peak of X tons. From 2020 to 2021, the growth of the exports remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, cattle hide and skin exports contracted to $X in 2021. In general, exports, however, enjoyed a resilient expansion. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2016 with an increase of 68% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the exports reached the peak figure at $X in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2021, the exports remained at a lower figure.

Colombia (X tons), Vietnam (X tons) and Cambodia (X tons) were the main destinations of cattle hide and skin exports from Thailand, together comprising 88% of total exports.
