Exports peaked at X cubic meters in 2016; however, from 2017 to 2020, exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.
In value terms, wood residues exports fell modestly to $X in 2020. In general, exports recorded a noticeable shrinkage. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2009 when exports increased by X% y-o-y. As a result, exports attained the peak of $X. from 2010 to 2020, the growth exports remained at a somewhat lower figure.

Germany (X cubic meters), Poland (X cubic meters) and Ukraine (X cubic meters) were the main destinations of wood residues exports from Thailand, with a combined X% share of total exports.
From 2007 to 2020, the most notable rate of growth in terms of shipments, amongst the main countries of destination, was attained by Ukraine (+X% per year), while exports for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

Wood residues imports into Thailand shrank to X cubic meters in 2020, which is down by -X% on the previous year. Overall, imports continue to indicate a deep slump. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2018 when imports increased by X% y-o-y. Imports peaked at X cubic meters in 2007; however, from 2008 to 2020, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.
In value terms, wood residues imports dropped modestly to $X in 2020. In general, imports showed a slight descent. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2008 when imports increased by X% y-o-y. Imports peaked at $X in 2011; however, from 2012 to 2020, imports failed to regain the momentum.
