In value terms, glass fibre fabrics exports amounted to $X in 2022. The total export value increased at an average annual rate of +2.0% over the period from 2012 to 2022; however, the trend pattern indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 with an increase of 17% against the previous year. The exports peaked at $X in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2022, the exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

Germany (X tons) was the main destination for glass fibre fabrics exports from the Netherlands, accounting for a 50% share of total exports. In 2022, glass fibre fabrics imports into the Netherlands reduced modestly to X tons, which is down by -4.1% compared with 2021. The total import volume increased at an average annual rate of +1.8% from 2012 to 2022; the trend pattern remained consistent, with somewhat noticeable fluctuations being recorded in certain years. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2017 when imports increased by 28% against the previous year. As a result, imports attained the peak of X tons. From 2018 to 2022, the growth of imports remained at a somewhat lower figure.
In value terms, glass fibre fabrics imports dropped to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, total imports indicated a prominent expansion from 2012 to 2022: its value increased at an average annual rate of +5.5% over the last decade. Germany (X tons), the Czech Republic (X tons) and Belgium (X tons) were the main suppliers of glass fibre fabrics imports to the Netherlands, together accounting for 52% of total imports. China, Taiwan (Chinese), France and the UK lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further 38%.
