The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2013 with an increase of 249%. Over the period under review, the exports attained the peak figure at $X in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2022, the exports remained at a lower figure.

France (X tons) was the main destination for transmission shaft exports from Tunisia, accounting for a 36% share of total exports. Moreover, transmission shaft exports to France exceeded the volume sent to the second major destination, Italy (X tons), threefold. There were significant differences in the average prices for the major overseas markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Germany ($X per ton), while the average price for exports to France ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
