Over the period under review, the exports attained the peak figure at X tons in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2022, the exports remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, sweetened condensed and evaporated milk exports skyrocketed to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, exports showed a buoyant expansion. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2016 with an increase of 42% against the previous year. The exports peaked at $X in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2022, the exports remained at a lower figure.

Cyprus (X tons), Iraq (X tons) and Azerbaijan (X tons) were the main destinations of sweetened condensed and evaporated milk exports from Turkey, with a combined 73% share of total exports. Syrian Arab Republic, Kuwait, Georgia, Libya, Israel and South Africa lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 20%.

From 2012 to 2022, the biggest increases were recorded for Kuwait (with a CAGR of +84.9%), while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In value terms, Iraq ($X) remains the key foreign market for condensed or evaporated milk (sweetened) exports from Turkey, comprising 49% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was taken by Cyprus ($X), with a 17% share of total exports. It was followed by Kuwait, with an 11% share.
