Ecg Market Size in Turkey

The Turkish ECG market skyrocketed to $X in 2021, growing by 26% against the previous year. This figure reflects the total revenues of producers and importers (excluding logistics costs, retail marketing costs, and retailers' margins, which will be included in the final consumer price). These countries were followed by Azerbaijan, Syrian Arab Republic, Libya, Turkmenistan, Cyprus, Kazakhstan, Lebanon, Oman and China, which together accounted for a further 45%.

From 2012 to 2021, the biggest increases were recorded for China (with a CAGR of +78.2%), while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In value terms, the largest markets for ECG exported from Turkey were Iraq ($X), Azerbaijan ($X) and Georgia ($X), together comprising 41% of total exports. Turkmenistan, Syrian Arab Republic, Oman, Cyprus, Libya, Kazakhstan, China, Lebanon and Democratic Republic of the Congo lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 39%.

In terms of the main countries of destination, China, with a CAGR of +59.0%, recorded the highest growth rate of the value of exports, over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2021, the average ECG export price amounted to $X per unit, declining by -6.1% against the previous year. Overall, the export price continues to indicate a perceptible decline. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2018 an increase of 103%. The export price peaked at $X per unit in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2021, the export prices failed to regain momentum.

Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Oman ($X per unit), while the average price for exports to Democratic Republic of the Congo ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.

From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Pakistan (+17.3%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2021, supplies from abroad of electro-cardiographs increased by 55% to X units, rising for the fourth consecutive year after two years of decline. In general, imports continue to indicate a strong expansion. As a result, imports attained the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

In value terms, ECG imports expanded markedly to $X in 2021. Overall, total imports indicated a measured expansion from 2012 to 2021: its value increased at an average annual rate of +2.2% over the last nine-year period.
