Denmark (X tons), Vietnam (X tons) and Israel (X tons) were the main destinations of seafood meals and pellets exports from Turkey, with a combined 89% share of total exports.
From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of shipments, amongst the main countries of destination, was attained by Vietnam (with a CAGR of +32.9%), while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, Denmark ($X), Vietnam ($X) and Israel ($X) appeared to be the largest markets for seafood meals and pellets exported from Turkey worldwide, together comprising 89% of total exports.

Average prices varied somewhat for the major external markets. In 2021, the countries with the highest prices were Israel ($X per ton) and Denmark ($X per ton), while the average price for exports to Taiwan (Chinese) ($X per ton) and Vietnam ($X per ton) were amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Taiwan (Chinese) (+11.1%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

Imports into Turkey
In 2021, the amount of flours, meals and pellets of fish or of crustaceans and molluscs imported into Turkey surged to X tons, rising by 70% on the previous year's figure. Overall, imports showed prominent growth. As a result, imports attained the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

In value terms, Morocco ($X) constituted the largest supplier of flours, meals and pellets of fish or of crustaceans and molluscs to Turkey, comprising 54% of total imports. The second position in the ranking was taken by South Africa ($X), with a 9% share of total imports. It was followed by Mauritania, with a 7.8% share.
From 2012 to 2021, the average annual growth rate of value from Morocco stood at +57.8%. The remaining supplying countries recorded the following average annual rates of imports growth: South Africa (+15.7% per year) and Mauritania (+49.0% per year).
