After two years of decline, the Turkish glass fibres and wool market increased by 1.2% to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, consumption continues to indicate prominent growth. Glass fibres and wool consumption peaked at $X in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2022, consumption remained at a lower figure.

After three years of decline, supplies from abroad of glass fibres and glass wool increased by 17% to X tons in 2022. In general, imports continue to indicate strong growth. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2014 when imports increased by 59%. Over the period under review, imports reached the peak figure at X tons in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2022, imports failed to regain momentum.
