In general, imports, however, showed a noticeable expansion. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 when imports increased by 131%. Over the period under review, imports hit record highs at X units in 2021, and then declined in the following year.

In value terms, non-electric motor handtools imports contracted sharply to $X in 2022. Overall, imports continue to indicate a slight setback.
