In value terms, China ($X) constituted the largest supplier of imitation jewellery to Turkey, comprising 71% of total imports. The second position in the ranking was taken by Italy ($X), with an 8.2% share of total imports. It was followed by Thailand, with a 4.5% share.
From 2012 to 2021, the average annual growth rate of value from China totaled -11.6%. The remaining supplying countries recorded the following average annual rates of imports growth: Italy (-2.4% per year) and Thailand (-9.5% per year).
Import Prices by Country
In 2021, the average imitation jewellery import price amounted to $X per ton, declining by -12.4% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price saw a pronounced setback.
