In value terms, lactam imports soared to $X in 2021. Overall, imports posted a significant expansion. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2014 with an increase of 172%. Imports peaked in 2021 and are likely to continue growth in the near future.

Germany (X tons), the Netherlands (X tons) and the United States (X tons) were the main suppliers of lactam imports to Turkey, together comprising 75% of total imports. Russia, Mexico, South Korea, Belgium and Belarus lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 20%.
