Cyprus, with a CAGR of +74.6%, saw the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of exports, in terms of the main countries of destination over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2022, the average lead export price amounted to $X per ton, declining by -2.5% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price, however, recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2021 an increase of 16%. The export price peaked at $X per ton in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2022, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major foreign markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Poland ($X per ton), while the average price for exports to the United States ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Poland (+9.7%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

Imports into Turkey
In 2022, approx. X tons of lead were imported into Turkey; picking up by 26% against 2021 figures. In general, total imports indicated a resilient expansion from 2012 to 2022: its volume increased at an average annual rate of +7.2% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, imports increased by +57.0% against 2019 indices. Bulgaria (X tons), Kazakhstan (X tons) and Saudi Arabia (X tons) were the main suppliers of lead imports to Turkey, with a combined 57% share of total imports. China, Russia, Iraq, Ghana, Libya, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Iran and Kyrgyzstan lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 32%.

In 2022, the average lead import price amounted to $X per ton, approximately equating the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 an increase of 24% against the previous year. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $X per ton. From 2018 to 2022, the average import prices remained at a lower figure.
Average prices varied noticeably amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the countries with the highest prices were Bulgaria ($X per ton) and China ($X per ton), while the price for Libya ($X per ton) and Russia ($X per ton) were amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Iraq (+3.0%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
