The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.

In value terms, China ($X) remains the largest manganese supplier from Turkey, making up X% of global exports. The second position in the ranking was occupied by the Netherlands ($X), with a X% share of global exports. It was followed by South Africa, with a X% share.

From 2007 to 2017, the average annual rate of growth in terms of value in China was relatively modest. The remaining exporting countries recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: the Netherlands (+X% per year) and South Africa (-X% per year).

The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2010, when imports increased by X% year-to-year. Turkey imports peaked in 2017, and are expected to retain its growth in the near future.

In value terms, manganese imports stood at $X in 2017. In general, the total imports indicated a mild growth from 2007 to 2017: its value increased at an average annual rate of +X% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2017 figures, the manganese imports decreased by -X% against 2014 indices. In terms of the main importing countries, Russia (+X% per year) recorded the highest growth rate of imports, over the last decade, while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

Manganese Import Prices by Country in Turkey

In 2017, the manganese import price in Turkey amounted to $X per ton, waning by -X% against the previous year. Overall, manganese import price continues to indicate a drastic reduction. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2011, when the import prices increased by X% y-o-y. There were significant differences in the average import prices amongst the major importing countries. In 2017, the country with the highest import price was France ($X per ton), while India ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
