In general, total exports indicated a strong expansion from 2012 to 2016: its volume increased at an average annual rate of +13.2% over the last four years. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2016 figures, exports decreased by -2.3% against 2014 indices. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2013 when exports increased by 35% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the exports reached the maximum at X units in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2016, the exports failed to regain momentum.

Over the period under review, total exports indicated a buoyant expansion from 2012 to 2016: its value increased at an average annual rate of +10.5% over the last four-year period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2016 figures, exports decreased by -11.1% against 2014 indices. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2014 when exports increased by 30% against the previous year. As a result, the exports attained the peak of $X. Azerbaijan (X units), Iraq (X units) and Australia (X units) were the main destinations of manure spreader exports from Turkey, together accounting for 31% of total exports. These countries were followed by Serbia, Bulgaria, Algeria, Uruguay, Ukraine, Romania, Russia, Lithuania, Moldova and Morocco, which together accounted for a further 40%.

From 2012 to 2016, the biggest increases were recorded for Lithuania (with a CAGR of +166.8%), while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In value terms, the largest markets for manure spreader exported from Turkey were Azerbaijan ($X), Australia ($X) and Serbia ($X), with a combined 32% share of total exports. These countries were followed by Bulgaria, Iraq, Algeria, Uruguay, Romania, Ukraine, Lithuania, Moldova, Russia and Morocco, which together accounted for a further 37%.

Among the main countries of destination, Lithuania, with a CAGR of +143.9%, recorded the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of exports, over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

The average manure spreader export price stood at $X per unit in 2016, with an increase of 3.4% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price, however, continues to indicate a perceptible decline. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2014 an increase of 4.3%. As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $X per unit. From 2015 to 2016, the average export prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.

Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Australia ($X per unit), while the average price for exports to Iraq ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.

From 2012 to 2016, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Moldova (-1.2%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced a decline.

In 2016, approx. X units of manure spreaders and fertilizer distributors were imported into Turkey; picking up by 90% compared with 2015 figures. Overall, imports posted resilient growth. As a result, imports attained the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

In value terms, manure spreader imports soared to $X in 2016. In general, total imports indicated a buoyant increase from 2012 to 2016: its value increased at an average annual rate of +7.9% over the last four-year period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. As a result, imports attained the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

In 2016, Italy (X units) constituted the largest manure spreader supplier to Turkey, accounting for a 90% share of total imports. Moreover, manure spreader imports from Italy exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, the Netherlands (X units), more than tenfold. France (X units) ranked third in terms of total imports with a 3.4% share.

From 2012 to 2016, the average annual rate of growth in terms of volume from Italy totaled +24.6%. The remaining supplying countries recorded the following average annual rates of imports growth: the Netherlands (0.0% per year) and France (+26.0% per year).

In value terms, Italy ($X) constituted the largest supplier of manure spreaders and fertilizer distributors to Turkey, comprising 76% of total imports. The second position in the ranking was held by France ($X), with a 5.8% share of total imports. It was followed by the United States, with a 5.6% share.

From 2012 to 2016, the average annual growth rate of value from Italy stood at +22.1%. The remaining supplying countries recorded the following average annual rates of imports growth: France (+78.6% per year) and the United States (+57.9% per year).

In 2016, the average manure spreader import price amounted to $X per unit, falling by -9.9% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price saw a drastic downturn. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2013 when the average import price increased by 18%. The import price peaked at $X per unit in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2016, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.

Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was the United States ($X per unit), while the price for China ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.
