Marshall Islands (X kg) was the main destination for goat meat exports from Turkey, accounting for a 50% share of total exports. Moreover, goat meat exports to Marshall Islands exceeded the volume sent to the second major destination, China (X kg), twofold. Saint Kitts and Nevis (X kg) ranked third in terms of total exports with a 14% share.
From 2020 to 2022, the average annual rate of growth in terms of volume to Marshall Islands stood at +1,100.0%. Exports to the other major destinations recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: China (0.0% per year) and Saint Kitts and Nevis (+355.6% per year).
In value terms, Marshall Islands ($X) emerged as the key foreign market for goat meat exports from Turkey, comprising 55% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was taken by China ($X), with a 20% share of total exports. It was followed by Saint Kitts and Nevis, with a 13% share.
From 2020 to 2022, the average annual growth rate of value to Marshall Islands totaled +824.1%. Exports to the other major destinations recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: China (0.0% per year) and Saint Kitts and Nevis (+136.7% per year).

In 2022, the average goat meat export price amounted to $X per ton, with an increase of 39% against the previous year. Over the period from 2020 to 2022, it increased at an average annual rate of +14.4%. As a result, the export price attained the peak level and is likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
Average prices varied noticeably for the major external markets.
