The third position in this ranking was taken by Bosnia and Herzegovina (X tons), with a 3.6% share.

From 2012 to 2021, the average annual growth rate of value to Germany stood at +36.6%. Exports to the other major destinations recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Austria (+62.8% per year) and Bosnia and Herzegovina (+16.4% per year).

Non-alloy aluminium bar imports into Turkey surged to X tons in 2021, rising by 47% compared with 2020 figures. In general, imports showed a buoyant expansion. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2018 when imports increased by 93% against the previous year. Imports peaked at X tons in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2021, imports remained at a lower figure.
In value terms, non-alloy aluminium bar imports rose slightly to $X in 2021. Overall, total imports indicated a pronounced increase from 2012 to 2021: its value increased at an average annual rate of +4.1% over the last nine-year period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2021 figures, imports decreased by -13.7% against 2019 indices. Over the period under review, the import price showed a perceptible contraction. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2020 when the average import price increased by 57%. The import price peaked at $X per ton in 2016; however, from 2017 to 2021, import prices remained at a lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2021, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Belgium ($X per ton), while the price for Iran ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
