Overall, the export price, however, recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 an increase of 12% against the previous year. The export price peaked at $X per ton in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major external markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was the UK ($X per ton), while the average price for exports to Georgia ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.

In 2022, after four years of growth, there was decline in supplies from abroad of non-citrus fruits not elsewhere classified, when their volume decreased by -3.8% to X tons. In general, imports, however, saw a significant increase. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2013 with an increase of 149% against the previous year. Imports peaked at X tons in 2021, and then contracted slightly in the following year.
In value terms, non-citrus fruits not elsewhere classified imports expanded rapidly to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, imports, however, recorded significant growth. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2013 with an increase of 275%. Imports peaked in 2022 and are expected to retain growth in the near future.
Imports by Country
In 2022, Russia (X tons) constituted the largest supplier of non-citrus fruits not elsewhere classified to Turkey, accounting for a 28% share of total imports. Moreover, non-citrus fruits not elsewhere classified imports from Russia exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, Cyprus (X tons), threefold. The third position in this ranking was held by Belarus (X tons), with a 10% share.
From 2012 to 2022, the average annual rate of growth in terms of volume from Russia totaled +29.6%. The remaining supplying countries recorded the following average annual rates of imports growth: Cyprus (+18.0% per year) and Belarus (+40.0% per year).
In value terms, Russia ($X) constituted the largest supplier of non-citrus fruits not elsewhere classified to Turkey, comprising 25% of total imports. The second position in the ranking was held by Belarus ($X), with a 10% share of total imports. It was followed by Germany, with a 9.3% share.
From 2012 to 2022, the average annual rate of growth in terms of value from Russia amounted to +24.6%. The remaining supplying countries recorded the following average annual rates of imports growth: Belarus (+45.3% per year) and Germany (+72.6% per year).
