Overall, exports enjoyed a resilient increase. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2020 with an increase of 75%. Over the period under review, the exports hit record highs in 2021 and are expected to retain growth in the near future.
In value terms, boiler parts exports surged to $X in 2021. Over the period under review, exports continue to indicate a strong increase. As a result, the exports attained the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

Turkmenistan (X tons), Germany (X tons) and Austria (X tons) were the main destinations of boiler parts exports from Turkey, with a combined 53% share of total exports.
From 2012 to 2021, the biggest increases were recorded for Austria (with a CAGR of +195.1%), while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, the largest markets for boiler parts exported from Turkey were Germany ($X), Slovakia ($X) and Austria ($X), together accounting for 45% of total exports.

Imports into Turkey
In 2021, overseas purchases of parts of boilers for central heating increased by 93% to X tons, rising for the second year in a row after two years of decline. Overall, imports, however, recorded a perceptible descent. Over the period under review, imports hit record highs at X tons in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2021, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.
In value terms, boiler parts imports soared to $X in 2021. In general, imports, however, recorded a pronounced slump. Imports peaked at $X in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2021, imports remained at a lower figure.
Imports by Country
Italy (X tons), Germany (X tons) and Iran (X tons) were the main suppliers of boiler parts imports to Turkey, with a combined 51% share of total imports.
From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of purchases, amongst the main suppliers, was attained by Iran (with a CAGR of +106.5%), while imports for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, the largest boiler parts suppliers to Turkey were Italy ($X), Slovakia ($X) and Romania ($X), with a combined 50% share of total imports. The Netherlands, Germany, Poland, China, France, the UK and Iran lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further 48%.
Iran, with a CAGR of +109.3%, saw the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of imports, in terms of the main suppliers over the period under review, while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

The average boiler parts import price stood at $X per ton in 2021, declining by -11.2% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price continues to indicate a mild contraction. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2016 when the average import price increased by 84%. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $X per ton. From 2017 to 2021, the average import prices remained at a lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2021, the country with the highest price was Slovakia ($X per ton), while the price for Iran ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Poland (+11.3%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
