In 2021, the amount of railway or tramway coaches (self-propelled) imported into Turkey dropped rapidly to X tons, which is down by -69.8% compared with 2020. Over the period under review, imports continue to indicate a dramatic setback. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2016 with an increase of 203% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports reached the maximum at X tons in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2021, imports remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, self-propelled railway coach imports reduced dramatically to $X in 2021. Overall, imports continue to indicate a deep slump.
