The United States (X units) was the main destination for semiconductor LED exports from Turkey, accounting for a 71% share of total exports. Over the period under review, imports reached the peak figure at $X in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2021, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

Imports by Country

In 2021, China (X units) constituted the largest semiconductor LED supplier to Turkey, accounting for a 49% share of total imports. Moreover, semiconductor LED imports from China exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, South Korea (X units), threefold. The third position in this ranking was held by Thailand (X units), with a 12% share.
