In 2021, soap in different forms imports into Turkey dropped notably to X tons, with a decrease of -33.7% on 2020 figures. In general, imports, however, showed a measured expansion. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2015 with an increase of 83% against the previous year. As a result, imports reached the peak of X tons. From 2016 to 2021, the growth of imports remained at a somewhat lower figure.
In value terms, soap in different forms imports dropped to $X in 2021. Over the period under review, total imports indicated a measured increase from 2012 to 2021: its value increased at an average annual rate of +3.5% over the last nine years.
