The United Arab Emirates (X tons) was the main destination for turkey meat exports from Turkey, with a 30% share of total exports. Moreover, turkey meat exports to the United Arab Emirates exceeded the volume sent to the second major destination, Jordan (X tons), threefold. The third position in this ranking was taken by Benin (X tons), with an 8% share.
From 2012 to 2022, the average annual growth rate of volume to the United Arab Emirates amounted to +21.7%. Exports to the other major destinations recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Jordan (+22.5% per year) and Benin (+15.3% per year).
In value terms, the United Arab Emirates ($X), Jordan ($X) and Kuwait ($X) appeared to be the largest markets for turkey meat exported from Turkey worldwide, together comprising 60% of total exports. Benin, Lebanon, Qatar, Guinea, Venezuela, Gabon, Azerbaijan, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Iraq and Ghana lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 30%.
Lebanon, with a CAGR of +56.4%, recorded the highest growth rate of the value of exports, among the main countries of destination over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

The average turkey meat export price stood at $X per ton in 2022, growing by 20% against the previous year. Over the last decade, it increased at an average annual rate of +1.3%. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2016 an increase of 26%. The export price peaked in 2022 and is likely to see gradual growth in years to come.
Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Lebanon ($X per ton), while the average price for exports to Iraq ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.

The third position in this ranking was held by Kuwait (X tons), with an 18% share.
From 2014 to 2022, the average annual growth rate of volume from the United States was relatively modest. The remaining supplying countries recorded the following average annual rates of imports growth: Brazil (+48.7% per year) and Kuwait (+29.6% per year).
