Cyprus, Belgium, the United Arab Emirates, the Netherlands, Syrian Arab Republic, Bahrain, Kuwait and Libya lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further 17%.

Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Libya ($X per litre), while the average price for exports to Syrian Arab Republic ($X per litre) was amongst the lowest.

Overall, imports continue to indicate a mild contraction. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2020 when imports increased by 65%. Imports peaked at X litres in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2021, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.
In value terms, non-mineral or non-aerated water imports soared to $X in 2021. In general, imports recorded a perceptible slump. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2015 when imports increased by 37% against the previous year. As a result, imports reached the peak of $X. From 2016 to 2021, the growth of imports failed to regain momentum.

In 2021, Cyprus (X litres) constituted the largest supplier of non-mineral or non-aerated water to Turkey, with a 39% share of total imports. Moreover, non-mineral or non-aerated water imports from Cyprus exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, Fiji (X litres), twofold. Denmark (X litres) ranked third in terms of total imports with an 11% share.
From 2012 to 2021, the average annual rate of growth in terms of volume from Cyprus stood at -9.9%. The remaining supplying countries recorded the following average annual rates of imports growth: Fiji (+23.2% per year) and Denmark (+65.2% per year).
In value terms, the largest non-mineral or non-aerated water suppliers to Turkey were Fiji ($X), Cyprus ($X) and Italy ($X), together comprising 71% of total imports. France, Denmark, Iraq, Bulgaria, Saudi Arabia, Japan and Greece lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 14%.
France, with a CAGR of +55.5%, saw the highest growth rate of the value of imports, among the main suppliers over the period under review, while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

The average non-mineral or non-aerated water import price stood at $X per litre in 2021, jumping by 96% against the previous year. In general, the import price, however, saw a perceptible contraction.
