Bracelet Market Size in Turkey

The Turkish bracelet market surged to $X in 2022, with an increase of 16% against the previous year. In general, the total consumption indicated a prominent expansion from 2012 to 2022: its value increased at an average annual rate of +6.3% over the last decade. In 2022, after three years of growth, there was significant decline in overseas shipments of watch straps, bands and bracelets, when their volume decreased by -5.3% to X units. Over the period under review, exports, however, showed a significant expansion. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2021 when exports increased by 515% against the previous year. The exports peaked at X units in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2022, the exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, bracelet exports surged to $X in 2022. In general, exports, however, showed significant growth. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 with an increase of 1,690%. Over the period under review, the exports reached the peak figure in 2022 and are expected to retain growth in years to come.

The United States (X units), Germany (X units) and Romania (X units) were the main destinations of bracelet exports from Turkey, together comprising 47% of total exports. The Netherlands, Tajikistan, Serbia, the UK, Ireland, Iraq, Hong Kong SAR and the United Arab Emirates lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 36%.

From 2012 to 2022, the biggest increases were recorded for the UK (with a CAGR of +193.8%), while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In value terms, the Netherlands ($X) emerged as the key foreign market for watch straps, bands and bracelets exports from Turkey, comprising 51% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was taken by the United States ($X), with a 24% share of total exports. It was followed by Germany, with a 5.3% share.

The growth pace was the most rapid in 2021 with an increase of 66% against the previous year. Imports peaked in 2022 and are expected to retain growth in years to come.
