In value terms, antimony oxides exports expanded notably to $X in 2022. Overall, exports, however, recorded a noticeable shrinkage. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 with an increase of 42% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the exports reached the peak figure at $X in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, the exports remained at a lower figure.
Exports by Country
Canada (X tons), Japan (X tons) and Mexico (X tons) were the main destinations of antimony oxides exports from the United States, with a combined 65% share of total exports. Colombia, Turkey, the Netherlands, Brazil, France, Costa Rica, China, Belgium and South Korea lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 29%.
From 2012 to 2022, the biggest increases were recorded for Turkey (with a CAGR of +163.8%), while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, the largest markets for antimony oxides exported from the United States were Canada ($X), Japan ($X) and Mexico ($X), with a combined 68% share of total exports. Turkey, with a CAGR of +124.4%, saw the highest growth rate of the value of exports, among the main countries of destination over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2022, the average antimony oxides export price amounted to $X per ton, with a decrease of -11.9% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price continues to indicate a mild slump. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2013 an increase of 21%. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $X per ton. From 2014 to 2022, the average export prices remained at a lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major foreign markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Mexico ($X per ton), while the average price for exports to South Korea ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.

Imports into the U.S.
In 2022, the amount of antimony oxides imported into the United States contracted to X tons, falling by -11.2% against 2021. Over the period under review, imports saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2021 when imports increased by 28%. Imports peaked at X tons in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2022, imports failed to regain momentum.
In value terms, antimony oxides imports soared to $X in 2022. Overall, total imports indicated mild growth from 2012 to 2022: its value increased at an average annual rate of +1.2% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, imports increased by +137.1% against 2020 indices. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 with an increase of 91%. Over the period under review, imports reached the maximum in 2022 and are likely to see gradual growth in the near future.

In 2022, China (X tons) constituted the largest antimony oxides supplier to the United States, with a 75% share of total imports. Moreover, antimony oxides imports from China exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, Belgium (X tons), sixfold.
