Glass Fibre Mat Market Size in the U.S.

The U.S. glass fibre mat market rose modestly to $X in 2022, picking up by 2.9% against the previous year. Overall, consumption enjoyed a resilient expansion. Glass fibre mat consumption peaked at $X in 2020; however, from 2021 to 2022, consumption remained at a lower figure.

The average glass fibre mat export price stood at $X per ton in 2022, standing approx. at the previous year. In general, the export price, however, posted a measured expansion. In 2022, approx. X tons of glass fibre mats were imported into the United States; declining by -8.3% on the previous year. In general, imports recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2014 with an increase of 23% against the previous year. As a result, imports reached the peak of X tons. From 2015 to 2022, the growth of imports remained at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, glass fibre mat imports shrank to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, imports recorded a mild setback. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2014 when imports increased by 28%. As a result, imports attained the peak of $X. From 2015 to 2022, the growth of imports failed to regain momentum.
